Updates October 2021

Todays release is one we've been working on this for a while, and it's a good one!
It's full of helpful workflow enhancements and additional features that are just plain handy!
Plus, as usual in every release, we've squashed a few minor annoying bugs too.

Story Review Process

This gets lots smarter, more straightforward and even better looking and includes:

A Brand New Start Screen!

You will see that this screen has become a whole lot more useful.  It helps give you a summary of whats happened before you get started, and when certain triggers in the story appear serious it gives you an onscreen alert. (note the Yellow box!)

PLUS...

  • Better navigation and workflow that includes a step indicator and updated labelling
  • New Start Screen - Summarises the Story, including additional details if the Story appears serious and steps required before the Review
  • You can now add additional items to the Review, including people injured and involved, Risks, Safety Plans
  • Reviewing known and unknown risks now is more purposeful and links more simply to Safety Plans
  • New End Screen - You can now add Notes, Attachments, and Status directly from the end screen after the Review
  • The end screen now also reminds people of the considerations if the Story Review appears Serious
  • A simplified way of adding related Tasks after the Review (and from reviewed stories)

PeopleSafe Check-in

You can now lock a browser into a mode that constantly displays who is actually on site right now! (great example below)

PLUS

  • We've added a better explanation of how the whole Check-in process works before you click the Start Check-in Link, which will stop people who are having a play getting their browser stuck in Check-in mode!

Book Training

New 'Give to everyone in this Job' option when booking Online Learning or tasking Offline Training. This helps speed things up when you are looking to book everyone on a job / task everyone in a job training.

External Organisations

We've gone to town here, significantly expanding the External Organisations features, allowing more contact details and reference information, including Certifications, Licenses, and Approvals, Site Certifications, alongside the ability to set a review status and period.   You can now also include Contractor as a user of PeopleSafe a link them to the External Organsiation.

We've also made some other tweaks to improve your experience using
PeopleSafe in the following areas:

Gear Tasks

A new Organisation Preference has called, "Job that Gear Tasks are assigned to", lets you choose who gets the Gear Check Tasks instead of Coordinators. You can also choose to assign tasks required for a specific Gear Type to a Job as well.

Messages

The addition of New 'Smart Lists' for Inbox and Sent items makes filtering, sorting and export of message lists easy.

Tasks

You can now create a printable list with task detail. (Tasks > Output Data: Print)

Attachments

The upload of attachments has improved. You can now upload files without adding a description, and now auto-rotate of Profile and Gear photos has more smarts.

Emergency Plan Review

We added a new Task Type for Emergency Plan Review and now automatically create review tasks based on Review Date and Review Period. Where any exisiting Emergecncy plans don't have a last review date set, they will have that date set as at todays date. The introduction of this feature gives you more confidence that Emergency Plans will be regulary reviewed.

Health Events

We've made the addition of Health Events more intuitive, yay!
A new Health Events' Smart List' lets your sort and filter all Health Events related to any Health Event Type or Risk.
