What Browser Do I Use?

PeopleSafe isn't software that you need to install. Instead, it runs on the browser you normally use to access web pages on the internet.

To get the best experience with PeopleSafe we recommend you use the latest versions of the following browsers: 

   Google Chrome            Edge               Firefox                      Safari

Click on the links above to download for free the latest version of your favourite browser.   

P.S. We really like Google Chrome and Firefox! PeopleSafe will work best when you use the most recent version of these browsers.


PeopleSafe not loading correctly?


If PeopleSafe isn't loading or it displays an error, it might be that you're experiencing some connectivity issues - i.e. problems between you and the internet. Here are a couple of things you can try:

  • In the same browser, check that you can get to other websites, especially well-known ones e.g. www.google.com - if you can visit other sites, then the internet is working. This is a good way to make sure you haven't dropped your wireless connection if you happen to be using Wi-Fi.
  • If this is the first time you've tried accessing PeopleSafe, check that you don't have firewall or proxy issues which will most likely occur in your workplace.

If you're 100% sure that everything is working fine except for PeopleSafe, contact PeopleSafe support immediately, especially in the case of an error, so that we can make sure everything is running properly and fix it if it's not! Email help@peoplesafe.co.nz 


Support dropped for Internet Explorer

PeopleSafe strives to provide always-accessible safety software. For us to continue to extend the revolutionary features of the PeopleSafe application, our design and development teams need to make use of capabilities available in modern browsers.

A small and declining percentage of PeopleSafe users still use Internet Explorer, but any adaptations we make for it create a poorer overall experience for everyone. With this in mind we have dropped support for IE. We will of course continue to support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari and other modern browsers. 

If you continue to use Internet Explorer you may experience degraded performance or some PeopleSafe features may not be available at all.
