Delete a Gear Type

If you delete any of your Gear Types be aware this will delete all checks that have ever been completed in relation to that Gear Type.

  1. Click on your Organisation Name on the top left.
  2. Click Settings.   
  3. Under Gear Settings, click Gear Types.
  4. Find the Gear Type you want to delete.
  5. Click View.
  6. Click the Options menu in the top right.
  7. Click Deactivate.
  8. Click OK in the pop-up if you are sure you want to deactivate/delete this Gear Type.

  • If the Gear Type is in italics and does not have the button options to Edit or Deactivate then that gear type belongs to a Safety Hub that your PeopleSafe site is subscribed to. You'll find more information about what to do in our Safety Hub articles below.
