Delete a Gear Type

If you are wanting to delete the Gear Types you've already added to your organisation complete the following steps.

1. Click on your Organisation's Name at the top left
2. In the drop-down click on the Settings button
3. Click on Gear Types in the Gear Settings area
4. Click on the View button of the Gear Type you want to edit
5. Click on the Options button
6. In the drop-down click on the Deactivate button
7. Click yes

If the Gear Type is in italics and does not have the button options to Edit or Deactivate then that gear type belongs to a Safety Hub that your PeopleSafe site is subscribed to. You'll find more information about what to do in the 'Manage Subscription' and 'Safety Hub' articles below.

**NOTE** This will delete all checks that have ever been completed related to that gear type
