PeopleSafe Mobile App

This article explains the different features available in the Mobile App.

My PeopleSafe ID

This is where you find your unique PeopleSafe identification number. It is created when your  PeopleSafe User Profile is first set up. This number is stored in PeopleSafe and stays with you. If you join another organisation that uses PeopleSafe, for example a sports club, you will be connected to that sports club via your PeopleSafe ID #.  When you open this feature your ID number & QR code appear. The QR code is used for signing in using a PeopleSafe check-in Unit.  You can check-in by scanning your QR code to automatically populate your name and organisation.

Note: Your PeopleSafe ID is more than just a number, it includes your contact and login details

Alerts

Installing the Mobile App and staying logged in means you can receive PUSH messages from your Manager or PeopleSafe Coordinator.  You can also go back and look later. This feature is designed to get information to you quickly and allow you to respond by sending a thumbs up or a thumbs down. That way your manager will know if you've received and understood the message.

Tell Your Story® (using StoryAnywhere)

This is the feature you use to bring up a safety story that happens at work. You can choose from one of the 7 category options that best fits your story:  Hurt, First Aid, Fix, Risk,Close Call, Nice or Suggestion. To learn more about how to use the mobile app, click here:  Send a StoryAnywhere via Mobile App

Safety Plans

All the Safety Plans your Organisation has created can be accessed in the Mobile App. These plans explain how to manage the risks of the work.  This should be the first place you turn if you're looking for safety information.  It's always kept updated which means  you'll be able to see the most up-to-date version of the information.
