Create PeopleSafe ID Cards

PeopleSafe ID Cards are a plastic photo identification card with a scanable QR code that you can use at businesses or organisations using PeopleSafe Check-in. Cards are valid for two years.

The Check-in process is more efficient for users with a PeopleSafe ID card; the scanner will recognize their name and who they work for, making the sign in process the fastest ever! (If they don't yet have an ID card they will need to manually type in their full name and who they're representing).

You can order your ID Cards directly from the PeopleSafe software

Ordering ID cards can only be done by users with Coordinator Security Clearance.

Before you create and order ID cards, make sure you have:

  • Added your staff into PeopleSafe
  • Uploaded a photo to each staff member's Profile
  • Setup your Credit Card details in PeopleSafe

More About PeopleSafe ID cards

Why is every second page of my PDF blank?

The blank/white page is the back of your ID card. The ID Card printer needs the blank page to successfully print a complete ID card.

Why is there no pop-up asking me to save the PDF when I click on Generate ID Cards?

It may be because your internet browser thinks the pop-up is dangerous or your internet security settings are set to really secure and it won't allow any pop-ups unless they've been added to a safe list.
Instead of a box asking you if you want to save or view the PDF it might come up with a message or yellow bar saying 'Pop-Up Blocked - click here for more'. We suggest you click through and allow/give permission, then the PDF will open up.
If you need a hand you could always contact your organisations IT team for assistance.

How long will it take for me to get my ID cards?

Please allow 2-3 working days for the ID cards to be delivered. We do our best to dispatch orders via courier within 48 hours.

How do I turn off my Check-in label printer from printing stickers for users who check-in with a PeopleSafe ID card?
